Job Introduction

We currently have four exciting opportunities to join our new Customer Service Financial Advice team based at Head Office where you will be responsible for  the provision of ‘service related’ financial advice to existing Financial Advice customers over the telephone and via S-Link; our unique online remote advice platform.  

The role is an ideal opportunity for individuals who already hold the Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning, or equivalent and are looking for a route into developing a career into providing financial advice. The Customer Service Financial Adviser role will follow a progressive and structured role development plan which will mean that the role increases in scope as the individual demonstrates the appropriate knowledge and competence.

Main Responsibilities

As a Customer Service Financial Adviser, your main responsibilities initially will be to progress customer enquiries regarding withdrawals, providing assistance with income requirements and supporting our Financial Advisers and Head Office teams with ad-hoc requests from customers.


The scope of the role will be increased to also help us meet our on-going contractual service commitments to our existing customers in addition to further opportunities to support our field-based Financial Advisers.   

Ideal Candidate

You will have already achieved your level 4 diploma in Financial Planning, or equivalent and are looking to start your career of providing financial advice. You have a strong desire to work with customers in helping them achieve their financial objectives and provide an excellent level of customer service and want to develop the necessary skills to be able to progress your financial advice career.

The role will involve working with customers both over the telephone and S-Link so strong communication skills are required. You will be flexible, tenacious and able to adapt to meet the constant changing regulatory world of financial advice.

You should be comfortable to work independently as well as part of a team

Whilst training will be provided it is essential that the candidate has a background in Financial Services environment. This position is a certified role and the job holder will be expected to maintain their Statement of Professional Standing annually
