Job Introduction

Our new Financial Planning Consultant role will bridge the gap between our branch based Financial Advisers and the customer, providing crucial support resulting in a seamless customer journey.  97% of our financial advice customers would recommend us to family and friends* and we’re aiming to make our service even better with the introduction of this exciting role

Main Responsibilities

On a typical day you’ll be taking customers though our branch Review journey,  talking to them about their financial needs and looking for opportunities to refer them to the Financial Adviser. The best interests of the customers should always come first, and your knack for balancing meaningful relationships with the commercial requirements of the business will be key.  

 

Every conversation you have with a customer will be an exploration of the customer’s situation and needs. You’ll dig deep into the ‘who, what, where, when and why’, capturing the relevant information the Financial Adviser needs to prepare for their appointment. You’ll be the ‘go to’ colleague in the branch for customer enquiries and be a key point of contact for financial advice customers.  As a key part of the branch team, you’ll support your colleagues in the day to day running of the branch and support in developing their knowledge in particular around our Financial Advice proposition.

Ideal Candidate

We’d love to have 100% of our customers recommend our service, and we’ll be relying on your brilliant people skills and ability to manage a demanding caseload to help us get as close as we can.

You don’t need a background in financial services, but you do need to be an experienced customer-facing practitioner. You’ll be ultra-organised with a genuine interest in people, an eye for an opportunity and meticulous attention to detail.
